Advanced Care Planning Workshop
Wed. July 27th, 5-9 PM, Meridian Gathering and Resource Center
Do your loved ones and your doctors know what you would or would not want in the event you are unable to make your own medical decisions? Join us July 27 from 5-9 PM for an advance care planning workshop. In this workshop you will learn from an attorney and a registered nurse what advance directives are, the questions you need to answer about you end-of-life care, and you will have the opportunity to create your own plan that you can share with your doctors and loved ones.
Advance care planning:
▶ Helps ensure that your values, your priorities, and your preferences will be known and respected.
▶ Avoids unwanted medical interventions.
▶ Prevents family conflict.
▶ Lifts the burden of uncertainty from loved ones.
▶ Help the medical team know which person’s judgement you trust.
